Formerly known as Mandrake Linux, Mandriva was the original "easy-to-install" Linux distribution. It comes with a beautiful graphical installer that automates a lot of the decisions about installing a Linux distributions. This was and remains an excellent distributions for beginners.

The most recent release of Mandriva has focused on providing excellent wireless networking support for technologies such as Blue Tooth and WIFI.
